Guide To The Mankameshwar Mahadev Mandir Lucknow

Within the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh's capital, there is a very old Shiva-Parvati temple located close to the Gomti River. Mankameshwar Temple is the name of this temple. This temple has mythical significance and is quite old. On the banks of the Gomti in Lucknow, the Mankameshwar Mahadev Mandir is one of the historic pagodas. This temple contains a sanctum sanctorum where Bholenath is sitting and a floor covered with silver coins. In this temple, every request that comes from the mind is granted.

History of this Temple

The Ramayana era may be traced back to the history of the Lord Shiva temple in Lucknow known as the Mankameshwar Mahadev Mandir. According to legend, Lakshman's thoughts were unhappy and preoccupied when he returned to Ayodhya after leaving Maa Sita in exile.

He spent the night on the banks of Lakshman Gomti, where he afterward worshipped Lord Shiva, where his mind was greatly at ease. He did this with a heavy heart. It is stated that this is when the Shiva temple was constructed in this location. Every request a person has from the heart is supposedly granted at the temple. The temple was given the name Mankameshwar for this reason.
