CRAZE OF UPSC AND OTHER STATE EXAMS IN PEOPLE TODAY
The allure of working for the government is constant. We have been conditioned to view government employment and the advantages it offers in a particular way. Every time a conversation about them is brought up, a select few important phrases immediately spring to mind. When individuals discuss working for the government, phrases like "job stability," "authority," "respect," "high income," and "perks" are frequently in their minds.

The popularity of IAS, IFS, and IPS positions changes throughout time. Consider the tiny number of classmates you had in high school who were interested in pursuing careers as IAS officers (IAS refers to the IAS, IFS, IPS, and other government positions together in this article). The number increased significantly once you entered college, and it multiplied many times as your friends began to realize they needed to go on with their lives after graduation and college.

It's a remarkable path from a dreamer to an IAS official. People are motivated for varied reasons, from money to a desire to do something for the country, but practically everyone travels the same path. You make a decision, search for coaching facilities, enroll, and become a little intimidated by the competition. Hours of instruction and practice in crowded classrooms come next. As time goes on and you (hopefully) get better, you realize that many of the folks you formerly saw as competitors are really just there to kill time. When you make an effort to pass the examinations, you begin to idolize various individuals on the other side, even your professors in many cases.

Here are some reasons why youngsters of today and even people of middle ages are engaging and moving towards these state examinations and UPSC
  • It is impossible to express the status and power that comes with the position.
  • The benefits and financial rewards are undoubtedly enviable.
  • Compared to many other professional possibilities, work-life balance has a higher likelihood.
  • A chance to significantly contribute to the development of your nation.
  • The proud feeling of the parents

Even if many dreams are realized and dashed every day, IAS continues to fascinate people, and there is no reason why it shouldn't. On the other hand, there are certain groups and communities of people who are just wasting their time saying that they’ll appear for these examinations just because they have the chance and are given opportunities to giving these examinations, whereas this is not for any good for the same people and for the other people as well who work really hard and by heart and study with the aim of achieving their dreams.
