The Downfall of Bollywood Industry

Bollywood is one of the favorite kinds of people in the world today. But today it has started to go down and is continuing to go down further. There are several reasons which we can relate for the same.

The art of filmmaking began and developed in order to reflect the desires and requirements of society and to draw attention to the social and cultural fads of the moment. And maybe due to this films and their making is changing continuously.

Filmmakers have started to make films on content that is no more relevant to the people and which people are not really accepting. The audience is expecting something new and something to which they can relate in today’s time to their lives and to the societies where they are living. Some of the films are really good and are made in keeping our history and ancient times, cultural values, and themes in mind.

But on the other hand, there are films where that have no sense and face several restrictions by society which do not have a good impact on the youth of our nation. Also, since the time when OTT has arrived to people in such an easy way through the platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, LionsPlayGate, etc. it is so easy for people to watch any film or series, that any age group can watch anything on them even if they are not for them. 

So, it is very important for people especially in the film industry to make relevant content for the perfect age groups so that they can really relate to them and that easy to accept society as well. 

I would also like to say that, this failure isn't solely the responsibility of the business the public has also been oversaturated with options over the years, and the enjoyment of art has just not been palpable. It's vital to keep in mind that movies' main goal is to amuse, and most Bollywood movies—not all—succeed in that endeavor. There are times when it is necessary to admit this. Not every film can have a deeper message or support a societal cause. Because, at the end of the day, we watch movies to enjoy ourselves, sometimes the absurdity of these films is what is necessary.
