He will be born in a village named Shambala, on the thirteenth day of the waxing moon. His parents will be Vishnuyashas (father) and Sumati (mother) and her spouse will be Padmavati and Rama. Still, there is no clarity about his children, the different texts have different names for their children according to Upapuranas Jai and Vijaya will be his children and Kalki Purana mentions meghamala and Balahaka as his children.
Purpose of Birth
He will appear on earth to end the Yug that is Kalyug in Hinduism. The cycle of Yug or existence in Hinduism will restart again from Satyug. He will remove Adharm (unrighteousness) and establish Dharm (righteousness).
